Cooksville Grill in Vale

My husband Bill and I eat there 2 to 3 times a week on averageand see a lot of the locals when we are there. Huge variety of food to choose from and very generous portions.The owners are polite and friendly and take pride in the quality of their food.Been going right at 2 years and so blessed to have found this placeand look forward to many more years to come

Love this place/ always Great food / eat there as often as we can/ clean hands repair the food( don't have to worry about nasty) 2020 still the best comfort food/ best tea, meatloaf around😁

In the area visiting the Vale Veterinary Clinic and ended up having lunch here. Their cheeseburgers are huge and very tasty. Best fries I've had in years! Too bad this place isn't closer to my home!

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. In the fall they got the best soup you could ask for. All year round the food is delicious. Anytime we are in the area we make sure to stop here and eat. Down home cooking. Very friendly service. Priced just right. FYI: they don’t take debit/credit cards. ATM is located inside. Bring cash. It’s a great place to bring the whole family. I highly recommend stopping here if your in the area.

March 14th 2020a foodie buddy & i were practicing NC's new concept of social distancing; so we snuck out to the cookesville township for a fried fish feast Cooksville Grill's plates & platters are MASSIVE guy-size servings. The gigantic flounder fillet & mountain of calabash shrimp across from me was impressive.i tackled their heaping platter of pearch filletswe never had to attract or summon a waitress; the girls appeared to work as a team, circulating & servicing ALL tables & filling everyone's tea glasses if you need to work on your social distancing, this is the place. its at least 20 miles from most everywhere & well worth the drivethis was my first visit & wasnt even on my want-to-go radar -> im already looking forward to my NEXT Cooksville Grill visit ps cooksville even offers to-go lids & straws with a tea fill-up on your way out the door

Love this place! Great food and staff!

Since they have remodeled the restaurant, the interior looks amazing. The staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. The manager makes sure that the restaurant is clean and that the staff is at your table within a minute or two of you sitting down. Tasty "home cooked" meals are waiting for you here. If you are ever in the area and craving a bite to eat, make sure you stop here to fill your belly.

Love this place! Go here literally at least once a week. Great service. I usually get the burger and tater tots or fries. They have daily specials and deserts. Closed on mondays! Other than that great establishment. Has an old diner feel to it. 10/10. Be warned when it is buisy service may be slow
